Latest: Top Ten Songs on 69 NEWS

69 WEEKLY N.E.W.S

1. Idowest – Mafia culture vol 2.0 Album
Jah is definitely my favorite song off this album (yea, I love flirty song). Mafia culture vol. 2 brings back memories of shepeteri Idowest, but with a more creative mind and flexibility. With features with the likes of Davido, Mayorkun, Patoranking, Bella Shurmda, Mohbad, and more, the album is definitely not leaving my playlist for the foreseeable future.

2. Sigag Lauren – let you down Album

If there is anything like a perfect two songs album then this is it. Damn! Sigag Lauren got me hooked on this. A mid-tempo electronic dancehall classic, produced by Sigag Lauren himself will get you nodding along to the beats and enchanting vocals.
PS: he is Nigerian

3. Wadude – Ms Parker
Warning ⚠️: this track is censored 18+ only. The mid-tempo beat and dirty flirty lines will definitely make skipping this song a tough job. Whose ass who Wadude looking at when recording this?

4. M.I Abaga ft Sinzu, Erigga – TBDK
“9ja progress na anti-clockwise…”
M.I is definitely in the mood. This Beat Dey Knock like mad and na bars dey follow am for back. The lines, the bars, the beat, the hook, the artists, the producer(s) are all on fire. Damn whoever said there ain’t no dope rappers in Nigeria dey cap 💯

5. Small doctor ft Davido – Mandeman Remix
This definitely will be in the mix to top the street charts. One for the streets with a fast-paced beat perfect for the fit-fam and Davido being the Davido we all love.

6. Teni – Wondaland Album
What if I told you I rated this album 10/10 and its only feature is Davido, would you believe? Well, you should cos this album is a complete one. We see Teni flexibility on both slow-paced tempo and fast-paced tempo, and also Teni being all lovey-dovey and as flirty as she can be on “Toxic”. Definitely one for the years.

7. M.anifest ft Vic Mensa and Molly – No fear
“Tell a man chale no fear…”
M.anifest showing his strength in wordplay gotta be why I am so hooked on this track. With Vocals and bars from Vic Mensa and Molly, I definitely enjoyed this.

8. Justin Beiber – Justice Album
Burna Boy was featured on this, yea our Grammy-winning Burna Boy. This album is so emotional and beautiful that I couldn’t pick the best song. Justin tells us a story of how love is about devotion and commitment in this beautiful R&B genius of an album. He sings about the beauty of his marriage and the peace it brings him.

9. Roddy Rich – Heartless
A slow-paced trap song with more vocals than rap bars I’d say. Roddy focused more on getting his heartbreak message across with soothing vocals here.

10. Naira Marley ft Busiswa – coming
You definitely want to listen to this one, it is Naira Marley at his flirty best on an ampiano beat; “I am coming, cuming, coming…” with Busiswa dropping vocals in Zulu. I am tempted to say I saved the best for last but I won’t.
